CHILLED INCUBATOR HAS PELTIER EXCELLENCE
The new QED chilled incubator offers all the functions of a high specification cabinet but
without the high cost. The range has four models with stainless steel chambers ranging from
50 to 200 litres capacity. All have energy efficient Peltier heating and cooling over the range
12C to 60C with fluctuation typically 0.1C, making them ideally suited to a wide variety of
laboratory uses. These enviromnentally friendly cabinets not only have PID temperature
control and over-temperature safety but also are virtually vibration-free and very quiet in use.

NEW MINI BLOOD BANK REFRIGERATOR
A new full specification mini-sized blood bank refrigerator is now available. It can hold up to 20
standard blood packs in pull-out baskets. This new model can be freestanding on a bench or wall-
mounted on a special bracket, thereby making it ideal for use in small theatres where space is at a
premium. Conforming to BS4376 it not only has a comprehensive temperature monitoring
system but also a compact chart recorder. The volt-free alarm contacts make it easy to connect
into the hospital BMS if desired.

DOCUMENT EXAMINATION BENCH
Designed for examining documents and forensic evidence in a comfortable seated or standing
position. Downdraft airflow ensures that the operator is protected from chemicals and powders
during the procedure. The bench features an adjustable downflow surface area that can pivot
up to 45 degrees from horizontal using the electric angle adjustment facility. This allows the
operator to sit or stand in comfort whilst examining forensic evidence and documents. This
makes the procedure far less tiring. Made from stainless steel these downdraft safety benches

BENCH HUMIDITY STABILITY CABINET NOW IN RANGE
QED is pleased that four new stability cabinets have been introduced to further extend the
range offered. These competitively priced cabinets are of UK manufacture and have a host
of features including stainless steel interiors, microprocessor control of both humidity and
temperature, cooling as standard and the ability to dehumidify if necessary. These humidity
cabinets all use an ultrasonic fine mist generator that works at room temperature so that no
additional heat is introduced into the cabinet. This greatly improves overall stability. The sizes
available are 150, 320, 600 and 1275 litres. The bench humidity cabinet model is shown here.
