Filtration Module
Complete with a low airflow alarm, whisper quiet 55 dba brushless and sparkless centrifugal fan
generating a face velocity of 0.5 m3/min, inter-filter test port for filter saturation detection, ‘slide-out
effortless main filter change system with patented Easy-Clamp that totally eliminates any by-pass
leakage, FILTRETE electrostatic pre-filter with ‘clean-change’ system, and a filter door fitted with a
filter identification window. All mechanisms in the head section are on the clean side of the filter, with
the switches and electrical components being isolated from any contamination. The filter module is
located on an enclosure detailed below.
A face velocity of 0.5M/Sec ensures containment of fumes and particulates for operator protection.
An alarm alerts the operator if the airflow falls unacceptably low.
Enclosure and Stand
The filter module is located on an enclosure fitted with clear acrylic side panels for all-round vision
and a hinged front screen.
The enclosure is located on a closed steel cabinet base that allows access to waste and formalin
dispensing services. The stand is fitted with steel lockable castors for easy movement.
A formalin dispensing system is located in the under cupboard with a foot operated diaphragm pump
to supply formalin to the outlet within the enclosure. The 50 litre formalin tank is filled from within the
enclosure to ensure fume containment.
It is also possible to have this formalin dispensing system built into downflow benches.
