These filtered examination tables are constructed using an epoxy
coated steel frame and 316 stainless steel work surface.
Document examination downflow benches can be ducted direct
outside or more usually they incorporate carbon filter technology.
Contaminated air is drawn through the perforated stainless steel
work surface using low noise centrifugal fans, cleaned by the
carbon filtration system and then safely back into the room.

EFFICIENT AND ECONOMICAL
These recirculating air units are energy-saving. Cleaned air is re-circulated back into the workspace, avoiding the need
for ducting that exhausts expensive conditioned and/or heated air out to atmosphere.
DUCTED OPTION
The extracted option is sometimes preferable to filtered air systems. These require fixed ducting and an external fan to
discharge contaminated air to outside atmosphere.

FILTER SELECTION
Document Examination Benches that are filtered are supplied with a pre-filter to capture larger particulates such as
dust and a main carbon filter. The main filter can be chosen from 14 different types of carbon including those for
vapours of organics, solvents, acids, mercury and formaldehyde. HEPA filters are available for capture of particulates.
