The DWS comes in a range of sizes from 600mm to 1220mm in width. All are 580mm in depth and 800mm in height.
The DWS downflow workstations are designed specially to provide users with a small bench top unit offering
unrestricted access to the work area for those operations that cannot be easily performed using a conventional
fume cupboard. To provide optimum user protection the down flow of air moves contamination away from the
user’s breathing zone. Should the airflow fall to an unacceptable level an alarm will alert the user.

The perforated stainless steel work surface is removable for ease of cleaning and access to the pre-filter. Under
this work area is a spillage tray. Lighting fitted into the control head illuminates the work area well. Mechanisms
in the head section are on the clean side of the filter with components and switches isolated from contaminants.
