Patient Warming - At What Cost?

To fully implement the NICE directive will cost the NHS dearly - estimates are in the order of £20million + annually.

Switching to the Geratherm UniqueTemp system will give savings of up to 80% compared with forced air systems.

Additionally, since the UniqueTemp is re-usable it can be used on all patients without any additional cost. So now
there is no logical reason not to warm all patients - just what NICE would like!
